URBANA, Ill. – Several road closures will be in place Friday and Saturday to accommodate Engineering Open House on the north side of campus. The following road closures will take place: Mathews Avenue between Springfield Avenue and Green Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.Springfield Avenue between Wright Street and Mathews Avenue will be closed all day Friday and Saturday, including overnight. UIPD reminding students of medical amnesty procedures
URBANA, Ill. – The University of Illinois Police Department is reminding students that state law and university procedures protect them from getting in trouble when they call 9-1-1 to help someone in need. Illinois state law provides immunity for people under the age of 21 who have been drinking but who call 9-1-1 to get medical help. Police training scheduled at Burnsides Lab
URBANA, Ill. – The University of Illinois Police Department will be conducting training over the next 10 days at Burnsides Research Laboratory, 1208 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Urbana. We are announcing this training so that our campus community members are not alarmed by the heavy police presence. Most of the training will be small scale and occur after dark.
